The role:
Reporting to the Principal Project Officer, and operationally to the Digital Lead, you will provide project management and project administration support across complex digital health infrastructure projects. You will support the project by coordinating project governance, reporting, scheduling, financial management, records management and delivery activities including project design, implementation, integration and operational readiness.
In addition to this, you will:
- Coordinate project reporting, scheduling, governance and records management activities.
- Develop, maintain and manage project documentation, artefacts, logs and registers.
- Monitor project performance, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones and provide timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Support financial management activities including forecasting, tracking and monitoring project expenditure.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication activities across project teams, business representatives and external partners.
- Contribute to design, testing, implementation, integration, go-live and hypercare activities for major digital health infrastructure projects.
- Promote and apply appropriate project management methodologies, standards and governance frameworks.
- Support the delivery of project outcomes within approved scope, schedule and budget parameters.
Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate experience supporting the delivery of medium to large scale ICT, digital transformation or health infrastructure projects within a structured project management environment.
You will possess strong skills in project coordination, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to the delivery of complex project outcomes.
You will have experience developing project artefacts and documentation, maintaining schedules and registers, monitoring project performance, and supporting financial and governance activities.
An understanding of recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or PMBOK will be highly regarded, along with experience working within large, multi-stakeholder environments.
About the Digital Capital Program - eHealth Queensland:
Queensland Health is currently undertaking one of the largest health infrastructure programs ever seen in Australia. The largest of these, the Hospital Rescue Plan (HRP) is a visionary program designed to bring service and capabilities to more Queenslanders than ever before. The Hospital Rescue Plan will deliver 3 new hospitals, a new Queensland Cancer Centre, and the expansion of 11 existing hospitals resulting in 2,600 additional beds across Queensland.
