Senior Financial Compliance Officer

Start a new journey with West Moreton Health! The Senior Systems Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting users of SAP S/4HANA through training and critical system issue resolution, administrating user access, monitoring work flows, and managing the relationship with Accounts Payable, Health Support Queensland, Capital and Asset Service Branch; and Corporate Enterprise Solutions to assist in the management of finance system issues for West Moreton Health.
This role is also responsible for managing the financial policies and procedures (including the Financial Management Practice Manual), administering the Financial Compliance Delegations Framework, managing mandatory statutory body registers, and monitoring compliance of corporate cards.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Training: demonstrated expertise and experience in training, including the ability to understand and develop training plans, training needs analysis for a finance system in a large complex and decentralised environment. High level of knowledge of contemporary training practices including delivery of online content and prepared training packages when required.
- Problem Solving: demonstrated ability to analyse, conceptualise and innovate in a problem solving situation including the ability to independently research, analyse, develop and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform business processes.
- Technical Skills: demonstrated significant level expertise and experience in the use and support of SAP S/4HANA. Understanding of key financial accounting concepts and principles and how to apply them in systems and procedures. Extensive knowledge and experience of Procurement to Pay and Asset Management / Maintenance system processes
- Pursues Continuous Growth: Takes personal accountability for learning, and eagerly pursues new knowledge and experiences.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to investigate and provide practical recommendations in relation to financial accounting and administration matters which enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial management and administration, and contribute to enhanced financial outcomes.
