Protect critical infrastructure. Shape the future of Queensland's correctional facilities.
Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a highly skilled Principal Advisor Maintenance to ensure our custodial centres and built assets remain safe, secure and fully operational. In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert guidance across asset maintenance, property matters and strategic planning—making sure frontline services can rely on well managed facilities every day.
You'll lead the protection and maintenance of high value, complex assets, ensuring compliance with the Maintenance Management Framework and all health, safety, security and reliability standards. Your expertise will influence land and property matters, capital works delivery, risk management systems, and long term asset strategies. You'll also maintain contemporary knowledge of trends, design specifications and emerging technologies shaping modern correctional facilities.
We're looking for an experienced professional who thrives in complex environments and can deliver outcomes within tight budget, compliance and operational constraints. You'll bring strong analytical capability, proven experience in high security or similarly complex asset portfolios, and the confidence to negotiate, influence and build productive stakeholder relationships. Your initiative, judgement and technical expertise will directly support the safe, legal and continuous operation of Queensland's correctional facilities.
