About the opportunity
Provide strategic and operational leadership in finance and revenue development, reporting and monitoring, clinical information planning and management to enhance the financial and human resources and business capabilities of the Service Group. Develop and implement systems, clinical activity targets, budgets and reporting policies to continuously improve the Service Group's finance, revenue and clinical performance.

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to provide professional advice at a strategic and operational level to senior managers, particularly in relation to finance, revenue, clinical trends and performance; clinical information systems; and management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management policy and practices with the ability to successfully lead and manage change within a large and complex organisation.
- Strategic, conceptual, analytical and innovative skills in relation to complex service planning and clinical activity management in the Health industry.
- Highly developed and demonstrated negotiation, consultative, communication (including written) and interpersonal skills suited to dealing with a complex range of internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Highly developed information technology skills, particularly in Health Information and Financial Information Management Systems. Expert skills in Microsoft excel and trend analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff and teams to ensure services are provided efficiently and effectively and in line with quality human resource practices, including equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour and demonstrated commitment to their implementation.
Role requirements
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $5531.60 - $5936.50 p.f. (AO7)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Locality allowance
