Role details
The Employment Relations team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an IWFM Subject Matter Expert to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
The Subject Matter Experts will provide local knowledge of rostering practices and tools and act as change champions to support the successful delivery of project outcomes and benefits, while promoting and supporting staff to self-nominate as Super Users to help foster a shared vision, promote communication, and support those impacted by change.
As a Stage 4 business Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work collaboratively with the IWFM Business Implementation Team to support the business-wide implementation of IWFM Stage 4 deliverables. SMEs provide Workforce Management (WFM) expertise, advice, and support to inform implementation, engagement, transformational change, and solution configuration. By applying local knowledge and influence, SMEs help the Business Implementation Team and colleagues understand and adopt new processes and practices, ensuring the IWFM solution is embedded and delivers long-term benefits.
About the Team
The Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health and seeks to enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and the Department of Health through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,500 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
