We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse to join our Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic, providing free, same-day care for adults and children with minor injuries and illnesses.

Bring your clinical expertise to the forefront, work with autonomy, support and mentor your nursing colleagues, and help shape the way we deliver quality care. Experience in emergency, acute care, minor injuries and illnesses, paediatrics or autonomous practice will be highly regarded.

This is a Permanent Part Time position with hours negotiable, plus a professional development allowance to support your growth.

About us:

The Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic provides free, same-day healthcare for adults and children over 2 years of age with non-life-threatening minor illnesses and injuries, including colds, flu, minor cuts, burns, infections and wounds.

Our friendly nursing team is here to listen, assess, treat and guide you to the right care when you need it. We work alongside local health services to make accessing healthcare easier and support you on your health journey.

About the role:

  • Lead with confidence.Work autonomously, using advanced clinical knowledge and sound judgement to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Think clinically, act safely. Use critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses, with patient safety always front and centre.
  • Support and inspire.Provide clinical leadership, share your knowledge and mentor nursing staff across the team, helping everyone deliver their best care.
  • Make a difference beyond the bedside. Take ownership of a quality portfolio and contribute to clinical practice, education and research, while supporting the team and stepping into leadership when needed.

About you:

  • Registered with the NMBA, with strong assessment, clinical and problem-solving skills. Emergency, acute care, minor injury/illness, paediatric or autonomous practice experience is a bonus.
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care with a strong focus on positive patient outcomes.
  • Keen to grow your skills, support education, and contribute to quality improvement, audits and innovative practice.
  • Communicate well, build great relationships, support your team and lead with integrity, confidence and compassion.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $139,931 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
