Our Social Workers look beyond the diagnosis, recognising the impact that life, relationships, culture, finances and other circumstances can have on health and wellbeing. Through practical support, advocacy and specialised interventions, we help people navigate challenges, strengthen their wellbeing and connect with the right services.
About the role:
- Make a real difference. Deliver evidence-based social work that helps patients and families navigate the social, emotional and practical challenges impacting their wellbeing.
- Grow your clinical confidence. Build your experience, develop your clinical judgement and take on increasingly complex situations with the right support and supervision.
- Share, support and collaborate. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, provide psychosocial advice and help mentor students and less experienced social workers.
- Help make care better. Get involved in education, professional development, quality improvement and shaping the practices and processes of the Social Work service.
About you:
- You have a Social Work degree and are eligible for AASW membership. Newly qualified applicants awaiting conferral or registration are welcome to apply.
- Understand social work practice, social systems, legislation and policy, with the confidence to manage your workload and work autonomously.
- Strong communicator who can collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, build relationships and confidently advocate for patients and families.
- Keen to learn, contribute to research and professional development, improve services and help develop the next generation of social workers.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
