About the role:
Fancy building something from the ground up? This could be your opportunity to shape the future of health research across Central Queensland.
As the inaugural Research Development Manager, you'll help create the CQHHS Office for Research from the ground up, designing the systems, governance frameworks, capability programs and partnerships that will set the direction for research across the health service.
This is a role with plenty of scope. You'll be part architect, part connector and part governance expert, while also ensuring research at CQHHS meets the right legislative, regulatory and ethical standards.
About you:
- You love building things. You're comfortable creating something from scratch, leading with confidence and helping shape a positive research culture.
- You know your governance. You understand Australian human research legislation and ethics requirements and have experience with research governance, compliance and HREC processes.
- You turn ideas into action. You can support researchers with proposals, protocols and grants, and understand clinical trial governance and funding pathways.
- You're a strategic connector. You know how to build partnerships, advise senior leaders and grow research opportunities across universities, industry and research organisations.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $176,711 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $72.78 - $78.11 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
