The Queensland State Valuation Service (SVS) delivers accurate and equitable statutory land valuations that support rating, taxing, land management and planning outcomes across Queensland. As a Valuer (PO3), you will contribute to delivering transparent valuation services across the Bundaberg and North Burnett regions while supporting clients, stakeholders and communities.
In this role, you will undertake statutory, State Land Asset Management and client valuations, prepare valuation reports and associated documentation, investigate and resolve valuation issues, and contribute to dispute resolution processes. You will liaise with government stakeholders, local government, agencies and members of the public, providing expert advice on valuation matters. The role also involves developing client relationships, supporting service delivery outcomes, managing workloads to meet Client Service Standards, undertaking computer-based valuation activities and contributing to projects and initiatives that improve service delivery.
Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, effective client engagement and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will demonstrate initiative, accountability and a commitment to developing your valuation expertise while contributing to consistent, high-quality valuation outcomes.
Travel is required across the Bundaberg and North Burnett regions and surrounds which is renowned for its diverse agricultural enterprises, including mixed farming and intensive agricultural systems.
