Kippa-Ring State School is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Inclusion Teacher for the 2027 academic year.
This role involves supporting students in classrooms and collaborating closely with class teachers to implement appropriate adjustments that enhance student engagement and achievement.
An understanding of educational adjustments and Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes is desirable.
The successful applicant will:
* Work directly with students with diverse learning needs
* Show flexibility, initiative, and responsiveness to individual student needs
* Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
* Support classroom teachers in planning, implementing, and reviewing reasonable adjustments
* Provide practical guidance and evidence-based strategies to classroom teachers
* Proven ability to oversee and deliver a range of pedagogies, processes, mapping and planning functions to support inclusive education practices
* Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus experience using the Australian Curriculum in a flexible manner to meet the needs of a diverse student population
This role will have the support of a large team that consists of Inclusion Teachers, Inclusion TAs, Guidance Officer, Psychologist and Speech Language Pathologist as well as members of the Leadership Team.
The position will commence in Term 1, 2027 until 25 June 2027, with possibility of extension.
