Permanent full time opportunity to lead advanced Nuclear Medicine services across PET/CT, SPECT/CT, Diagnostic CT, Radiopharmacy and Bone Densitometry, delivering expert imaging, innovation and clinical leadership that makes a real difference to patient care.
About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high level independent clinical Nuclear Medicine Scientist leadership and clinical services across multiple (more than one) nuclear medicine modalities demonstrating a high level of knowledge, skills and experience. Modalities include SPECT/CT imaging, PET/CT imaging, Diagnostic CT imaging, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Radiopharmacy with GMP standards.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced Nuclear Medicine services across PET/CT, SPECT/CT, Diagnostic CT, Radiopharmacy, Bone Densitometry and Paediatric Nuclear Medicine in a highly specialised clinical environment.
- Exercise a high level of professional autonomy, applying expert clinical judgement to complex and diverse cases beyond routine nuclear medicine practice.
- Contribute to service innovation by developing protocols, improving clinical practices and leading quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care.
- Mentor and support Nuclear Medicine Scientists and students, helping build capability and excellence across the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with leading clinicians and specialists across major tertiary hospitals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Lead and contribute to education, research, clinical governance and service development activities while advancing your own professional growth and expertise.
