Your new role:
Join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) as a Clinical Nurse within the Headspace In-Reach Program, working collaboratively with Headspace to provide accessible, integrated and evidence-based mental health care for young people aged 12–25 years across the Logan-Beaudesert and Bayside communities.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning, treatment and coordination for young people experiencing complex mental health concerns, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
- Hold an appropriate clinical caseload and deliver individual and co-therapy sessions, consultation liaison, therapeutic groups and clinical support across the Headspace Meadowbrook, Beaudesert, Inala and Capalaba centres as required.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and education to the healthcare team, supporting evidence-based practice, professional development and the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about improving mental health outcomes for adolescents and young people and is confident working within a complex, integrated service environment.
- You demonstrate advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage complex mental health presentations.
- You have strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills and can work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and partner services to support seamless consumer care.
- You are committed to clinical leadership and the development of others, with the ability to provide education, mentoring, consultation and support to clinical staff and students.
