We're excited to welcome a Manager Operational Support Services to our Operational Support Services team at Nambour General Hospital (NGH).

As the Manager Operational Support Services, you will lead the effective, efficient and safe delivery of Environmental and Food Services, across NGH and Glenbrook Residential Aged Care Facility (GRACF) ensuring high-quality, patient-centred support services that meet organisational objectives.
Operational Support Services provides essential non-clinical services that support patient care delivery, including environmental cleaning, food services, waste management and patient support services, contributing to safe and effective healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Environmental and Food Services across NGH and GRACF, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in alignment with organisational priorities, legislative requirements and performance expectations.
- Lead and manage service planning, delivery and performance, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators, service standards and continuous improvement outcomes that enhance patient experience and service quality.
- Drive consistency in operational standards, workforce practices, training and quality processes across Environmental and Food Services, in alignment with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service governance frameworks and professional reporting requirements.
- Provide high-level advice and leadership to support decision-making, problem resolution and service improvement initiatives across Operational Support Services, including collaboration with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Remuneration value up to $133,389 p.a., comprising salary between $111,357 - $116,909 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO7).
