Lowood State High School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Coach to lead targeted literacy intervention and support improved student outcomes across the school. This role involves working directly with Tier 2 and Tier 3 students, providing intensive literacy support through evidence-based intervention programs and personalised learning plans.

The successful applicant will administer, analyse and respond to diagnostic literacy assessments, identifying student learning needs and implementing targeted intervention programs to accelerate progress. They will monitor student achievement data and work collaboratively with teachers to ensure interventions are effective and responsive to student needs.

A key aspect of this role is working across the school to build staff capability in literacy instruction, supporting the implementation of our next four-year strategic plan. The Coach will provide coaching, mentoring, modelling, and professional learning opportunities for teachers to strengthen evidence-based inclusive and literacy practices that promote consistent, high-quality teaching across all classrooms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with strong expertise in inclusion and literacy development, intervention practices, and data-informed teaching to make a significant impact on both student outcomes and whole-school improvement.
