Your Opportunity

We have an exciting temporary part-time Administration Officer position available until 27 June 2025, working 58 hours per fortnight, in our Foundation Language Skills and Fitzroy Region team at TAFE Queensland’s Toowoomba Campus.

This position reports to the Regional Director.

Salary

The salary range for this position at the AO3 classification is $58,940 - $66,291 (gross) per annum.

Highly Desirable

 Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:

  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft 365 in particular Excel and Word 
  • Certificate III Business (Business Administration)

How you will be assessed

The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

  1. Demonstrate experience in providing administrative services and support to meet defined outcomes and timelines and display initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment.
  2. Possess knowledge and experience in achieving results through application of work processing packages, spreadsheets and database applications.
  3. Build and sustain productive working relationships with others including interacting successfully with clients, faculty staff and educational management.
  4. Demonstrate ability to analyse issues and recommend appropriate action strategies within the parameters of relevant legislation, guidelines and frameworks.
  5. Possess well developed written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to consult, liaise and negotiate with others.
