Our Native Title and Indigenous Land Services team are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join their team and bring their best self to work every day! While our main location of 1 William Street Brisbane is on offer, the locations of Cairns, Toowoomba and Warwick will also be considered.
As a successful candidate with our team, you will contribute to the Government's response to native title claims and other native title matters while supporting officers involved in negotiations of such matters.
Your savvy skills in research, data analysis and legislation interpretation will see you providing support to your team with the production of complex documents and reports that will help establish outcomes to the Government's response on native title matters.
Your strong communication skills and your ability to adapt your communication style for the various stakeholders, local authorities and peak industry groups will see you developing strong relationships that you'll be able to call on to assist with your progress across all material preparation to support your manager and state negotiator.
Your natural leadership will see you effectively coordinate the team's deliverables to ensure compliance is to a high standard, and your natural flair for developing others will see the team's results provide successful outcomes for the stakeholders you'll be working with and supporting.
Your attention to detail will see you produce your deliverables to a high standard when preparing court documents and reports and you'll be a team member who can proactively assist others to ensure projects for the team are prioritised to achieve results with careful planning and insightful decisions.
