If you've ever dreamed of combining your midwifery career with a true North Queensland adventure, this is your sign.
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Midwife – Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) to join our small, dedicated team in Weipa — a place where community, culture, and connection come together in one of Australia's most unique coastal towns.
🩺 About the role
The Midwifery Group Practice midwife will provide primary midwifery care for an allocated group of women (30-40 all-risk clients), in collaboration with other health care providers within the Midwifery Group Practice, at Weipa Integrated Health Service and the surrounding remote communities within a continuity of care model.
As part of the MGP team, you'll provide continuity of care to women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team working across the full scope of midwifery practice — in a setting where your expertise really makes a difference.
This isn't city midwifery. You'll get to know your clients, follow them through their journey, and deliver care that's personal, empowering, and deeply rewarding.
