About us:

The BreastScreen Queensland Program is the Queensland component of the BreastScreen Australia program. The BreastScreen Queensland Program provides free, high quality breast cancer screening and assessment services for eligible women through a state-wide network of 11 static breast cancer screening and assessment services, as well as mobile and satellite (screening only) services. The objective of the program is to reduce the mortality and morbidity of breast cancer in women in the target population.

About the role:

Undertake components of the development, implementation and evaluation of multi-strategy, multi-sector health promotion programs and relevant initiatives for the BreastScreen Queensland Program. Develop and implement service specific health promotion strategies and undertake engagement with stakeholders. Promote the service for early detection of breast cancer in Central Queensland and Central West Hospital and Health Services, in line with relevant national, state, and departmental policy directions.

About you:

  • Hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Health Promotion and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $66,283 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
