Oral Health Services, part of the Women's and Children's Service Group, delivers high-quality dental care across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service region. Services are provided through community and hospital-based clinics, mobile units, and outreach programs, supporting prevention, education, and treatment across diverse locations.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $3030.00 - $4453.50 per fortnight (HP3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
  • Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

Oral Health Services at Townsville University Hospital are currently seeking applications from Senior Dental Technicians to join their skilled multidisciplinary team to provide high level care to patients and clients.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and successful candidates will be notified of available vacancies. 

As a Senior Dental Technician, you will manufacture quality dental prosthetics and perform complex technical tasks with autonomy. You'll contribute to service improvement, collaborate in treatment planning, and support oral health staff across the region.

Requirements

  • Possession of a qualification in Dental Technology.
  • Proof of qualification and registration/membership (if applicable) must be provided prior to commencement.
  • Class C motor vehicle licence required.
  • This is a VPD risk role – vaccination evidence required.
  • A probationary period may apply.
