About the Role
- Represent CHQ HHS at internal and external meetings, committees and forums as appropriate.
- Provide ‘fit for purpose' briefs and reports for the Executive Leadership Team as required.
- Provide leadership by assuring clinical safety risks and issues related to CHQ's integrated clinical systems and solutions are identified and managed effectively.
- Participate in or lead CHQ HHS digital health projects and programs.
- Active participation in the stewardship of professional and clinical standards and practice through membership of the Medical Strategy Group.
Work in partnership with the EDMS, Deputy Director Medical Services, Patient Safety and the Divisional Safety and Quality Improvement Advisors, to ensure strategies, performance indicators and goals are aligned, and clinical risks associated with those, are identified, and mitigated. - Establish systems to determine return on investment and value for money for clinical information systems and processes (electronic and manual).
- Make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team on how to eliminate duplication, waste and improve utility and value of clinical information systems and processes.
- Be a key source of information on future clinical information developments and opportunities through horizon scanning, relationships with industry experts and clinical exemplars.
- Utilise best-available clinical evidence in design and implementation of clinical information systems.
- Contribute to development of new knowledge through research, data analytics and evaluation of clinical information systems, processes and implementation.
