About us:

The Nurse Manager Rostering and Resource Management role will be responsible for building and supporting Nurses, Midwives, Line Managers and team leaders who develop and manage rostering and workforce to achieve the industrial safe rostering practices ensuring resources are available to deliver safe patient care. The Nurse Manager will form part of the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit and work in close partnership with Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services Integrated Workforce Management Program (IWFM) Rostering Systems team in Workforce Division.

About the role:

The Nurse Manager Rostering and Resource Management is an advanced clinical practice Registered Nurse who provides strategic and professional leadership management for nursing and midwifery rostering and resource management. This position has an advanced level of professional and operational autonomous decision making in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and is responsible for enacting strategies that support a positive work-based culture.

About you:

  • Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory for this position.
  • A relevant postgraduate diploma or Master's degree is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $13,684 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
