The Nutrition and Dietetics team at Central Queensland Health delivers expert, compassionate care across hospital and community settings. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, we provide patient-centred nutrition care that supports recovery and promotes health across all stages of life. Our service is known for its strong team culture, commitment to professional growth, and focus on innovation and quality improvement.

About the role:

  • Deliver advanced, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services across acute, outpatient, and community settings.
  • Provide expert clinical assessment, intervention, and discharge planning for a diverse caseload.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development, and research initiatives.
  • Offer professional supervision and mentorship to junior clinicians and students.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Represent Nutrition and Dietetics on relevant committees and working groups.

About you:

  • You're an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with strong clinical expertise and independent practice skills.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics recognised for Dietitians Australia membership.
  • You bring proven leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement experience.
  • You communicate effectively and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • You're committed to continuous professional development and evidence-based care.
  • You value flexibility, wellbeing, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $94,415 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
