Our Physiotherapy Department is part of a dynamic Allied Health team that delivers care across acute, sub-acute, and community settings in Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast and Mount Morgan. We take a holistic approach to movement and function, helping patients recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their best possible quality of life.

About the role:

  • Provide advanced clinical physiotherapy services across a broad range of inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
  • Lead quality improvement, research and service development initiatives aligned with CQ Health priorities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, students, and support staff to build capability and confidence.
  • Contribute to collaborative multidisciplinary care through advanced communication and teamwork.
  • Deliver and evaluate evidence-based interventions that support recovery, mobility, and long-term health outcomes.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rosters as part of the seven-day physiotherapy service.

About you:

  • You hold a recognised degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • You bring high-level clinical expertise and confidence across one or more specialty areas such as cancer care, MAPU or generalist practice.
  • You're a natural mentor and communicator who values teamwork, learning and professional excellence.
  • You lead by example - promoting safety, quality and person-centred care in everything you do.
  • You're proactive in your own professional growth and eager to contribute to innovation and service improvement.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
