About us:
The unit is a 11-bed inpatient unit for Cancer Care Services. Cancer Care Services encompass:
- Medical Oncology
- Radiation Oncology
- Haematology
- Specialist Palliative Care
About the role:
To provide direct and indirect evidence-based patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, using contemporary nursing theory and practice within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
A Nurse Grade 3 is an Enrolled Nurse who supports a Registered Nurse in the provision of patient centred care as specified by registration requirements. The Enrolled Nurse seeks assistance and support in decision making from a Registered Nurse.
About you:
You will hold a current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrates sound evidence-based clinical skills and knowledge in area of practice and setting.
- You will practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Board competency domains for an Enrolled Nurse.
- You will demonstrate the ability to adhere to Code of Conduct for Queensland Public Service.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and adapt to change.
- Ability to communicate oral and written information promptly and accurately.
- Demonstrate your ability to communicate respectfully and thoughtfully with other staff, patients and carers.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $51,755 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
