An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Management Accountant, to work for a large public hospital based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with a perfect opportunity to have a fantastic work life balance including the opportunity for flexible working conditions and ability to enhance processes and make a difference.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support the Manager Finance & Business Analysis to manage the Finance & Business Analysis team, providing budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting functions for the HHS, enabling long term financial sustainability and monitor performance against targets.
• Support the Manager Finance & Business Analysis to coordinate and reconcile the HHS annual budget and resource allocation processes aligning to the Department of Health service agreement funding including consultation and negotiation with the Department of Health, Health Service Chief Executive, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Director Finance and Service Groups and Principal Finance & Business Advisors including the development of budget models, business rules, procedures and guidelines for budget treatment of major revenue and expenditure items and preparation of budget papers.
• Support the continuous funding negotiation process with the Department of Health, provide analysis and advice as to maximise revenue streams available.

Remuneration value up to $166,569 p.a., comprising salary between $136,035 - $145,990 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (PO5).
