Mackay Hospital and Health Service The MHHS is a contemporary organisation providing extensive health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings, to a population of around 182,000 people. Our region covers Sarina in the south, Clermont in the west, and Bowen and the Whitsunday Islands in the northeast, which is an area of approximately 90,000km2.

It is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with leading edge technology to assist us in providing the highest level of care to our patients and their families.

Your opportunity

  • The role is required to provide strong leadership and support the management, coordination and planning of high-quality service provision for the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
  • The Clinical Director will be required to jointly lead clinical governance with the Director of Nursing & Operations and other Clinical Directors, clinical governance within the Department and be an expert contributor to the National Quality and Safety standards across MHHS.
  • This position will provide professional leadership and oversight to senior and junior medical staff within the Department of Medicine while working with other departments to ensure a high standard of professional leadership across the MHHS.

Salary & Other Benefits

Remuneration value up to $517,279 (L24) comprising salary between $210,332-$244,313 (L18-L24); remuneration value up to $562,124 (L27) comprising salary between $251,527-$266,677 (L25-L27).
