The Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician to join our Rural Mental Health Service based at either Gayndah Health Service or Bundaberg Hospital. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health assessment, intervention, and case management to children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering person-centred, recovery-oriented care within a rural and regional context.

Your opportunity:

  • To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within Child & Youth Mental Health Service by supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
  • Deliver professional clinical mental health services as a member of a multidisciplinary team to consumers/stakeholder of the Child & Youth Mental Health Service.

Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) or Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable)

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,604 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates between $54.45 - $58.30 p.h. (p/t) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)), or remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates between $39.87- $58.60 p.h. (p/t) (HP3), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)/HP3) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
