About the role:

Responsible for providing, developing, and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical, and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and Director of Corporate and Support Services and other department staff. This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of multidisciplinary teams.

About you:

  • Act as a secretariat for various forums or committees as required. Prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, book conference rooms, facilities and
  • Organise, coordinate, and manage all secretarial and administrative aspects, including diary management, for the Directors and staff in a professional manner.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the Directors for all incoming and outgoing communication. Screen calls and re-direct where appropriate, answer routine queries, prioritise calls.
  • Use computer-based systems with expertise for data entry, word processing and spreadsheets as required.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,138 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
