About the role
The Principal Project Officer will provide project management for the MHACHSS Service Support Team. This role will lead the review of Health Centre infrastructure supporting Prison Health and Prison Mental Health Services. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the coordination, utilisation and planning of health centre infrastructure within West Moreton Health's Correctional Centres to support efficient, safe and equitable service delivery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- high level skills and knowledge in project management i.e. planning, consultation, facilitation and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and set, show excellent attention to detail, meet deadlines and deliver an outcome.
- understanding and experience in developing and implementing new and innovative project/programs.
- high level skills in providing authoritative counsel around project matters and managing complex changes and complex environments in the establishment of project.
- high level written and verbal communication, problem solving/analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills including consultation, engagement and negotiation skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
