In this pivotal Nurse Grade 7 role, you will provide expert clinical leadership, manage complex patient pathways, support multidisciplinary teams, and drive service improvement across thoracic surgery. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Provide advanced clinical leadership in the delivery and coordination of thoracic surgery care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Lead management of elective and emergency waitlists, clinical prioritisation, and escalation pathways to support timely, safe patient flow.
• Drive service improvement through quality, safety, risk management, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentor, educate and support nursing and multidisciplinary teams, fostering a positive learning culture and high-quality clinical standards.
Remuneration value up to $131,369 p.a , comprising salary rates $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.(part time, 60.80 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) . Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
