About the role:
- The Advanced Allied Health Practitioner (Community Rehabilitation) clinician will utilise advanced clinical skills in at least one area of health practice, as well as extended skills across a range of allied health disciplines to provide day to day clinical leadership in the interdisciplinary delivery of Allied Health services in Community Rehabilitation.
- In collaboration with Medical and Nursing colleagues, at a ward and/or service level, develop, implement and evaluate Clinical Pathways that address complex patient needs across the continuum including the advocacy for advanced and extended scopes of practice that are able to be measured through Hospital and Health Service level strategic Key Performance Indicators (i.e Australian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre Data).
- Collaborate with the Professional Directors of Allied Health disciplines to ensure that the workforce sustainability including skill development and succession planning for the Community Rehabilitation area to improve the reliability and quality of patient care for clinical services as well as improve patient outcomes.
- This position reports operationally to the Director Allied Health – Sub-Acute (Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast and Mount Morgan) and professionally to the relevant discipline Director.
About you:
- Mandatory possession of an Allied Health qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential, or for members of non-registered professions, eligibility for professional membership of the relevant professional association.
- While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,385 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
