An exciting opportunity exists for a Recruitment Advisor - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Identified) to join the Recruitment and Attraction, Workforce Division team. This position works closely with senior specialists in the Workforce Division to support and implement Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce initiatives. The role is responsible for identifying and strengthening talent pipelines, delivering strategic workforce planning activities, and responding to emerging workforce needs through culturally safe and evidence-based Human Resources (HR) practices. It involves providing expert advice on HR matters relating to Recruitment and Attraction and the coordination of tailored HR solutions that align with best practice and legislative requirements.

This position works closely with senior specialists in the Workforce Division to support and implement Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce initiatives. It involves providing expert advice on HR matters relating to Recruitment and Attraction and the coordination of tailored HR solutions that align with best practice and legislative requirements.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Offer cultural knowledge and best practice guidance on engaging Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates in recruitment processes, including end-to-end recruitment support and participation in selection panels for identified positions.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with the Sunshine Coast Health Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce, community members, and external stakeholders such as education providers and schools to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Support recruitment and talent acquisition projects aligned with the Sunshine Coast Health Equity Strategy, specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, driving progress toward attraction objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address workforce, recruitment, and attraction challenges impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates.
"Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community"
Remuneration value up to $131 052 p.a, comprising salary between $105 568 - $114 861 p.a, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5).
