An exciting opportunity exists for a Roster Support Validation and Audit Officer to join our Rostering Support Centre team. The Roster Support Officer provides dedicated rostering and workforce management support services and to nurse unit/line managers to achieve the optimal deployment of business unit resources. This role will be responsible for monitoring effective workflow, setting priorities, and reviewing local work practices to ensure the business is compliant with audit requirements associated with Rostering activity. The role will be responsible to ensure roster support resources have undertaken appropriate training programs and is responsible to monitor and review associated business process and compliance to ensure they are applied effectively to meet service delivery requirements.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Roster Support Validation and Audit Officer to join our Rostering Support Centre team. The Roster Support Officer provides dedicated rostering and workforce management support services to nurse unit/line managers to achieve the optimal deployment of business unit resources. This role will be responsible for monitoring effective workflow, setting priorities, and reviewing local work practices to ensure the business is compliant with audit requirements associated with rostering activity.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Monitor, review and improve practices in the delivery of services and support to ensure the effective workflow, resource allocation and availability of the rostering team with an emphasis on compliance, consistency, and the reduction of duplicated effort in administrative process.
- Liaise and communicate with key stakeholders, management and staff regarding appropriate rostering practices and accuracy in transactions to ensure quality outcomes, handling conflicting priorities within tight timeframes and providing guidance and advice to support staff regarding procedures and policies appropriate to the service areas.
- Identify any knowledge deficits and or gaps in consistency in standardised processing from within the RSO team through compliance reporting, and assist, develop, and deliver training programs in various forms to promote upskilling within the team, and more broadly with the stakeholders in the HHS. Provide specialised support in resolution of validation activities and complex enquiry management in collaboration with IWFM system administration and monitor timely response to Line Manager and employee enquiries.
Remuneration value up to $114 177 p.a, comprising salary between $3481.60 - $3835.70 p.f, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (Fixed Term Temporary position available until 30/06/2026 with possibilty of extension).
