• Maintain a detailed working knowledge of legislation, policies and procedure related to the management of health research and financial management (e.g. National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines and codes of conduct, Financial Management Practice Manual).
• Work with SCHHS researchers to develop research funding applications, providing expert advice and feedback to ensure applications are eligible, methodologically sound and competitive.
• Develop and manage pre-award and post-award processes for internally funded research schemes, including the development of relevant documents (for example, guidelines, application forms, assessment tools, funding rules), coordination of application rounds, and ongoing management of grant schemes and awards.
