🌴 Senior Dietitian – Cairns (with Outreach to Cape York Communities)
🕒 Temporary Full Time position available from February 2026 up to February 2027 (with possibility of extension)
🤝 Tell me more... Are you an experienced and passionate Dietitian looking for a meaningful role where your work truly makes a valuable contribution?
You'll be based in beautiful Cairns, working closely with a supportive team that includes Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, and Administration staff.
Each week, you'll travel to Cape York communities including Kowanyama, Aurukun, Pormpuraaw, Coen, and Lockhart River, providing clinical dietetic services, health promotion, and education in collaboration with local health teams.
Your work will contribute to improving health outcomes and supporting local capacity within culturally diverse communities.

About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Dietetics and eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia
- Proven clinical experience, ideally within rural or remote settings
- Strong cultural awareness and commitment to working collaboratively with First Nations peoples
- A sense of adventure and adaptability for regular outreach travel

- Base salary comprising between $128,169 .00 - $137,918.00 per annum – you may be eligible for additional benefits – refer to Workplace benefits | Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service
