The Medical Imaging Department at Townsville University Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic and interventional imaging services 24/7. Our team supports critical care areas and clinical units across North Queensland, delivering high-quality outcomes through advanced technology and collaborative practice.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $4912.70 – $5286.40 per fortnight (HP4).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
  • Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

As a Radiographer Senior, you will provide clinical leadership and deliver high-level imaging services across multiple modalities. You will supervise and mentor staff, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and ensure patient-focused care within a dynamic tertiary hospital environment.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography).
  • Current registration with AHPRA and Radiation Use Licence eligibility.
  • Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
  • Ability to participate in shift work, on-call, and work across facilities.
  • A probationary period may apply.
