An exciting opportunity exists a Radiographer to our Medical Imaging team.  As a Radiographer within the Medical Imaging Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, base-level imaging services as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that all standards of radiation hygiene are adhered to at all times, and that relevant legislation and standards relating to Radiation Health are maintained.  
  • Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.  
  • Commit to ongoing professional, service and individual development through participation in activities including professional development activities, professional supervision, supervision of students or clinical assistants, research activities. 
  • Work cooperatively and effectively through active participation in multidisciplinary teams and with patients/clients, their families, carers and other relevant stakeholders to provide high quality patient care and positively influence culture. 

Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $79 051 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (full time position available, 76 hrs p.f.).
