About the work unit / facility

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Townsville University Hospital provides comprehensive dietetic services across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings. Our team supports diverse clinical areas including medical, surgical, oncology, cardiac, renal, rehabilitation, and rural outreach to Charters Towers and Palm Island.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $3030.00 – $4453.50 per fortnight (HP3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
  • Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

As a Dietitian-Nutritionist, you will deliver high-quality nutrition and dietetic services within a multidisciplinary team. This rotational role covers diverse caseloads including medical, surgical, oncology, cardiac, renal, rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics, with outreach to rural facilities.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential.
  • Current C class driver's licence for outreach travel.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (working with children check).
  • Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
  • A probationary period may apply.
