Competitive salary and benefits:

- Salary range: $150,906 to $159,677 p.a. (AO8)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
The Deputy Director of the Infrastructure Office will provide strategic leadership and hands‑on management of Townsville HHS capital works projects.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Capital Works Program — valued between $10M and $50M annually — ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the State Government, Department of Health, and Townsville HHS.
The following knowledge, skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Strong knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the Queensland Government Capital Works Management Framework
- Strong knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the Australian Health Facility Guidelines
- Demonstrated experience in developing and compiling capital works business cases
- Qualifications in Health Service Planning and/or Health Facility Planning
- PRINCE2 project management qualifications or equivalent demonstrated knowledge
