About us:
Capricornia Offender Health Service (COHS) is responsible for the delivery of health service to Prisoners in the Capricornia Correctional Centre (CCC) and Capricornia Correctional Farm (CCF) including workcamps. COHS provides a health service to a fluctuating population of approximately 1028 male Prisoners within CCC and CCF. The CCC receives and transitions Prisoners on release from and to geographical locations north to Mackay; south to Gladstone, east to Capricorn Coast; and west to Central Highlands. COHS provides clinical services within the correctional centre, which is unique to other clinical services, in that, COHS provides services within a structured day and security function of CCC/ a correctional centre.
About the role:
The Pharmacist Principal Project Officer for Prison Electronic Medical Records (PeMR) will collaborate with the Digital Health project team to provide expert prison health clinical advice and recommendations to support the implementation of the PeMR (including electronic medications and orders and results reporting for pathology and medical imaging).
The position will work at Capricornia Correctional Centre during the project and will be responsible for collaborating and providing prison health subject matter expertise, leadership, and coordination with other project staff and PeMR stakeholders in supporting the achievement of project outcomes.
About you:
- Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- While not mandatory, a post graduate qualification (diploma or similar) would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,385 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.12 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
