About us:

Gladstone Hospital is a 108-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, cancer care, clinical investigation, obstetrics, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology, paediatrics and a renal dialysis unit.

There is a 42-bed mixed General Surgical and Medical Ward and a four bed High Dependency Unit where patients may be held pending retrieval, or for close observation not possible on the wards. A new Transit Lounge has recently opened to improve patient flow throughout the hospital. The hospital has a busy outpatient clinic reviewing a wide variety of surgical and medical conditions.

About the role:

Participate in a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the Gladstone Hospital. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in daily clinical pharmacy rounds within the clinical care environment throughout Gladstone Hospital.

About you:

  • Appointment to this position requires possession of a Degree in Pharmacy and eligibility for registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
