About the role
Redcliffe Hospital is seeking casual security officers to join its dynamic, fast-paced team where no two shifts are the same. Your input will truly matter as you will be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team focused on staff safety and positive patient outcomes.
No security experience? No problem! We provide paid, on-the-job training to give you the skills you need. Many of our officers come from non-security backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive security services to protect patients, staff, visitors, and hospital assets.
- Respond to emergencies, including personal threats, fire, and critical incidents, using evidence-based de-escalation techniques.
- Monitor and operate security systems such as CCTV, radios, and body-worn cameras, ensuring accurate incident reporting.
- Support compliance with legislation and hospital policies while maintaining mandatory training and professional development.
