An exciting opportunity exists for a Coordinator Operational Services to join our Operational Support Services team. This position will provide leadership which ensures the efficient and effective use of human and material resources and maintenance of related standards in the area of Operational Support Services at Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital (MSMH). The role is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and production of high quality and nutritional food for hospital patients.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the production, cooking, and presentation of high quality and accurate food items for patients/clients of MSMH Food Services.
- Knowledge of Food Safety procedures within a hospital setting, compliance with the Food Safety Act 2006 and assist with ensuring the compliance of MSMH Food Services Food Safety Plan, food hygiene regulations and practices.
- Monitor hygiene practices of Food Services staff working in the kitchen area, including food safety and personal hygiene rules.
- Coordinate the work practices of Support Service staff, to ensure cleaning, linen, waste and patient support duties are carried out safely, effectively and efficiently to meet relevant standards and legislation.
Remuneration value up to $91 760 p.a., comprising salary between $73 533 - $80 423 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO4).
