About you:
In your new role you will:
- Manage the legislative compliance function on behalf of the CHHHS, including but not limited to ensuring compliance obligations are reviewed within requisite timeframes and non-compliant obligations are reported and actioned promptly. This involves daily tracking and recording of completed and uncompleted obligations, follow up, and escalation as appropriate.
- Support stakeholders at various levels to understand CHHHS's legal requirements pursuant to relevant Acts, Regulations, By-laws, Australian Standards, Queensland Health directives and assist compliance owners to identify relevant evidence and complete compliance reviews.
- Work with compliance owners to identify actual and potential breaches/non-compliance, vulnerabilities and risks. Support owners to develop and/or implement corrective actions and provide general advice and guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
