The role:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the ICT change and release management activities ensuring compliance, timely release of the technical changes in the production environment and maturing technical change processes.
The ICT Change and Release Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end eHealth Change and Release processes for Microsoft 365, Mobile Device Management and other Agencies ICT Transition initiatives. This role plays a critical role in further building and implementing the processes and tools supporting ICT Change and Release operational functionality plus ensuring that all activities are visible and communicated internally and externally with our customers. The role is responsible for the day-to-day technical Change and Release activities ensuring efficient management, coordination and follow up on any issues, questions and escalations that might be associated with one or more changes as they progress through the Change/Release life cycle.

To be successful in this role, you will have an ability to deliver, lead and manage the ICT Change/Release and technical communication activities in a complex ICT environment.
You will have proven experience maturing ICT Change Management and ICT Release Management processes to ensure process compliance and focus on key performance indicators using visual management reports and dashboards.
You will have an ability to identify and progress improvement opportunities to reduce the risks associated to ICT Change and Releases. This includes the regular analysis of Change/Release trends to provide business intelligence, response and resolution times, and customer feedback.
You will also be able to provide expert process advice, guidance and facilitation to stakeholders and ITSM process owners with regard to ITSM and current best practice frameworks while keeping a focus on Queensland Health business needs.
Additionally, you will have a high level of working knowledge and/or training in IT customer service delivery (ITSM/ITIL), and a high level of interpersonal, presentational, oral and written communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders and strong evidence of customer focus and relationship management skills.
