The Renal Satellite Unit in Charters Towers is a four-chair dialysis facility providing a six-day service to patients in the region. Our team delivers high-quality care and education, supporting patients with chronic kidney disease and collaborating with Townsville Hospital Renal Services for outreach and clinical excellence.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $54.44 – $58.30 per hour (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide advanced nursing care and leadership within the Renal Satellite Unit. This role involves autonomous practice, clinical decision-making, and supporting patients through dialysis treatment. You will also contribute to education, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA and a valid practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- Highly Desirable: A current Adult Life Support certificate.
- Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
- Ability to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- A probationary period may apply.
