About your opportunity:
Deliver high quality Physiotherapy community based clinical services commensurate with level of clinical experience and in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards including on site clinics, home visits, and group-based interventions including cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and falls and balance programs within a muti-disciplinary team.
About your role:
- Commit to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by adhering to clinical governance policies and processes and by actively participating in safety and quality practices.
- Work cooperatively and effectively by maintaining timely and open communication (including accurate documentation and reporting) and attendance at inter-professional team meetings as appropriate, liaising with team members and coordinating community-based services.
- Manage a rural generalist community Physiotherapy caseload both individual and group-based assessment and intervention, with relevant client groups including those with chronic disease, falls risk and post hospital discharge.
- Provide student education and clinical practice supervision to physiotherapy students and less experienced physiotherapists and provide support and guidance to allied health assistants, work experience students and other relevant staff as required.
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious and ethnic background.
