Join our Child & Adolescent Clinic as a Clinical Nurse – Paediatric Diabetes Educator, providing advanced, person-centred care to children and young people living with diabetes. In this dynamic role, you will practise autonomously, deliver specialised diabetes education, and contribute to clinical leadership, innovation, and service improvement. Working within an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team, you will support families, lead practice change, and promote safe, high-quality care.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide specialised diabetes nursing care and education to children, young people, and their families.

Work autonomously and support clinical decision-making within the paediatric diabetes service.

Lead and support quality improvement, practice development, and clinical innovation.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
Remuneration value up to $83 097 p.a, comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., (part time, 45.6 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nursge Grade 6 (1)). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
