About the work unit / facility
The Interim Bed Unit is a 10-bed facility co-located within Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility in Charters Towers. It provides transitional care for long-stay patients on the aged care pathway, focusing on maintaining independence through mobility, personal care, medication management, and chronic disease support. Our multidisciplinary team ensures patients receive quality care while awaiting permanent placement.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $2730.40 – $2897.80 per fortnight (Nurse Grade 3).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will contribute to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patients' independence and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
- Evidence of vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD).
- Current National Police Certificate for Aged Care and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Ability to work all shifts, including on-call, as per roster.
- Current Class C driver licence.
- A probationary period may apply.
