Cultural Safety Facilitator
South Brisbane
The Cultural Safety Facilitator will support CHQ’s cultural capability and its efforts to actively eliminate racial discrimination and institutional racism by facilitating and delivering an anti-racism learning and development package. The Cultural Safety Facilitator will work directly to the Health Equity Program Manager as part of a dynamic and innovative team to achieve health equity reform. The Cultural Safety Facilitator will work closely with the project members from the Carumba Institute (Queensland University of Technology) and the Advisory Committee established as part of this research program.

About the Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Supporting the development of a new anti-racism learning and development package including researching and refining content and facilitation methods
- Facilitate the delivery of the new anti-racism learning and development package to all streams of CHQ's workforce (face-to-face) based on best practice adult learning methods
- Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training in eliminating racial discrimination and institutional racism within CHQ.
